Overview

Start your journey from your hotel in Bali (09:00–09:30 AM). Enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive to Gilimanuk Port, then cross the Bali Strait by ferry to Ketapang, Banyuwangi—the gateway to East Java. Pass rural landscapes, stop for lunch at a local restaurant, and check in at your hotel to prepare for the adventure ahead.

Ijen Crater & Blue Fire

Begin before sunrise as we drive through lush forests, coffee fields, and a protected nature reserve toward Ijen Crater. From the ranger post, hike approximately 90 minutes to the summit at 2,383 meters.
Witness the world-famous Blue Flames, admire the turquoise acidic lake, and see sulfur miners carrying heavy loads along the crater path—an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After exploring Ijen, return to your hotel for breakfast, check out, and continue the 4–5 hour drive to your Bromo accommodation overlooking the Tengger Caldera and surrounding volcanoes.

Bromo Sunrise at Penanjakan

At 3:00 AM, your Jeep will take you to Penanjakan, one of the best sunrise viewpoints in the world. Watch the sun illuminate Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru above the mystical Sea of Sand—a truly breathtaking moment.

After sunrise, visit the Bromo Crater, walk across the desert-like landscape, and climb the stairway to the crater rim. Return to your hotel for breakfast before transferring back to Bali (Ketapang Port) or onward to Surabaya or Malang.
